Educational Opportunities by Experts & More
Chapter Meetings
West Valley Chapter meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from October through May. Come for our Brown Bag session from noon to 12:45 p.m. Or check in by 12:45 p.m. with the presentation until 2:30 p.m.
Our monthly chapter meetings provide educational opportunities by experts in the hearing loss community. At our meetings, individuals with varying levels of hearing loss help one another by providing ideas, support, and sharing experiences to make life a little easier with hearing loss.
Our meetings are free, amplified and the room has an induction loop system allowing you to use your t-coil setting. We also use CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) caption service, which means the meetings are captioned in real time.

West Valley H.O.P.E.
Our chapter has a drop-in H.O.P.E. (Hearing Other People's Experiences) session that meets the third Monday of the month at 2:00 p.m. MST on Zoom. These sessions started out as a book group set up during Covid. But we soon realized we were talking about things beyond discussing the book. We use the time to listen to one another and share our experiences to help each other. This year we may expand our horizons and try new things like watching and discussing TED Talks, or other types of interesting content.
Contact Fred Williams, [email protected] for more information about the meeting and to request a link to the Zoom meeting.
